Cold Case Season 1

Season One- The First season opened up with episode Look Again. Lilly Rush is introduced here working upon a long unsolved case and a witness comes forward who is the maid servant dying of cancer and remained silent for years because the accused belongs to very high profile family. A serial rapist sends a letter to Philadelphia squad that he is coming back again after five years and drops a challenge for police if they can stop him from attempting another rape. Lilly succeeds to win the trust of a witness who himself does claim of a murder and now helps Lilly to solve a hanging case. A police man is under suspicion for a murder committed by deadly blows of policeman stick. Detective Stillman assigns case to Lilly which he couldn’t solve. A skull with a bullet hole is found from a burned disco club and which throws light on 23 undiscovered murders committed long back. Lilly is jealous of Kite’s flirting with the new detective in squad. The season ends up with Lover’s Lane and got average ratings.

The Best Episode- A Time To Hate
This episode is the best rated episode of the first season with ratings 8.9. In this episode Lilly discovers a shocking fact about her own police department of 1960s. Actually mother of a murder victim who was beaten to death pleads to Lilly to get justice for her son before she dies. When Lilly starts investigation it is discovered that he was killed due to being the member of a gay gang, outside the Gay club and malpractices of police in 60s come into light.
