Lieutenant John Stillman
John Stillman’s Character- John is very caring boss of Philadelphia squad of detectives. He is very close relationship, specifically with Lilly. His married life got ruined due to his duty, which didn’t let his relationship being peaceful with his wife and consequently they divorced. He has a daughter who was once assaulted but survived. He has a grandson too. He is very committed and supportive officer and stands by his fellow detectives in their bad times. Like he took Scotty’s punishment leave himself to save his continuity in the squad. During this suspension he decided to retire but later Lilly convinced him to come back on duty.

Career- After graduation, in 1970, he became a teacher and has taught students of sixth grade. After that he entered the world of acting. He belongs to an Irish family and is fluent in Irish language and he also used this skill in Cold Case TV Promo, in which he questions an accused, who is an actor from an Irish drama. He has worked in a number of TV series and movies. He played supporting roles in films like ‘The Haunted’, Catch me If You Can’, ‘True Crime’ and Glory. He has also appeared in many Hit TV shows in recurring roles as The Practice, NYPD Blue, Dawson’s Creek and The X-Files.
