Detective Will Jeffries
Will Jeffries’ Character- He is the senior man of the squad after Stillman. He takes the charge of the office when Stillman goes for a leave. Being a senior officer, many of his personal life’s incidents have been shown in the series. Like in his childhood he witnessed a homicide, and he grew up solving the case which encouraged him to join the squad. He is a married man but his wife died on the roadside after hit by a truck while she was changing tyre of her car. After that he is extra cautious about Road safety and when he tracks down the driver, he considers killing him but doesn’t do the same. Although he is a coolheaded man but he can’t tolerate injustice and in one episode he punches ADA William Danner, as he caused somebody to die with Capital Punishment, ignoring the evidence, which proves him innocent.

Career- Thom is an American African actor and due to his baldness he actually appears like a detective or high profile officer and that’s why he easily gets the roles of detectives as well as in negative roles. He has got such guest roles in many movies in the very beginning of his career. He played as a guard in The American President and as Sergeant in Samahani in Congo in 1995. He also appeared in Steel and The Fast and the Furious. Eventually he started working for silver screen and there he got a regular role as a detective in Cold Case. He was also a talk show announcer Love…And Other Four Letter Words. Besides this he has worked in a number of movies.
