Detective Scotty Valens
Scotty’s Character- He is Lilly’s partner in detective team of Philadelphia Police Division. He is a short tempered guy and it is learnt that he has several siblings, although only his older brother Mike appears on the show. He is very loyal partner to Lilly at work. He is the youngest detective in the squad and his personal relationships too remain strained like Lilly’s. he had a girl friend named Elisa, who had some psychiatric problems , due to which she commits suicide. He also had a brief relationship with Lilly’s sister Christina due to which some frictions develop in his relations with Lilly. But later on they get back to previous companionship after Scotty shooted a gunman and ended up the hostage situation in finale of fourth season, where Lilly was in trouble. Later on Internal Affairs department questions him about necessity of that shootout and consequently he is sent on one month long unpaid leave as punishment. Lt. John Stillman stands by him against the decision and takes that leave himself.

Personal Life- He is an American actor of Cuban descent. He is married and is blessed with two sons. His recent appearance was with Cold Case. he graduated in 1996 and after that switched on to show biz.
Career- Besides Cold case he has also worked for series like The Shield and Lucy: The Lucille Ball Story. He also appeared in an episode of CSI-NY which was telecasted as cross over of Cole Case. he has also appeared in the movie Flicka.
