Detective Nick Vera
Nick’s Character- Nick Vera is working as a detective in Philadelphia Police Squad. He is sometimes a very rough cut interrogator; in fact he is not believed to be a good investigator. In the initial seasons it was shown that he is a married man, but his marriage is on the brink of break up. He tries hard to save his marriage by applying for adoption of a child, so that he could bring some harmony in his married life. But eventually he and his wife get separated. After this he starts dating with an African-American nurse. She has a teenage son who appears occasionally on the show. Nick is always suspicious towards the new comers of Squad.

Career- Jeremy is a Canadian actor who started his career in 1988 with movie Short Circuit 2. After this he did Unforgiven in 1992 and worked in two movies in 1996, Generation X and Fly Away Home. He first worked in TV Series The Busy World Of Richard Scarry in 1993. His recent projects are Comanche Moon and Leatherheads in 2008. Currently he is in Cold Case portraying Detective Nick Vera.
